A Decision to Make
The $2.50 tupperware sits in the back of the fridge, shoved there by time, impatience, and procrastination.
I take it out, set it on the counter. Cringe at the color of what oozes beneath the lid.
I should empty it. Wash it. Double wash it.
I could.
I'm capable.
Instead
I drop the whole thing unopened into the trash can and walk away, satisfied in $2.50 well spent.
Rest easy, two week old soup. We hardly knew ye.

I've done this too. Feels good -- to finally trash the thing and be done with it for good.
